BADMINTON

Badminton is a racquet sport played in singles or doubles across a net, with points scored by landing the shuttlecock in the opponent's half of the court. A rally ends once the shuttlecock touches the ground, and each side may strike it only once before it crosses the net.

Because the shuttlecock's flight is affected by wind, competitive badminton is played indoors. It asks for stamina, agility, speed and precision, and rewards good technique — which makes it as satisfying to learn as it is to play.
